Stella Maris Water Sports is based at Stella Maris Marina on the beautiful Caribbean coast in the north of Long Island. We provide low cost communal accommodation, the Driftwood package is perfect for families or small groups and dive clubs or students. For individual accommodation you can choose our Plantation package and stay at the nearby Stella Maris Resort. Our rates are very competitive and fully inclusive of all meals, accommodation, flights from Nassau or Georgetown and diving or water sport activities in a friendly atmosphere with a club house and bar, swimming pool and ocean deck for relaxing and sun bathing or watching and cheering the wakeboard acrobatics. We also offer a Freedom Package for visitors accompanying divers and water sports enthusiasts who simply want to be here but do not want to take part in the activities.
A full weekly program of diving or water sports is carefully planned for you to experience a memorable vacation as well as plenty of land based fun and sporting activities throughout the day and evening. Activities include volley ball championships, table tennis tournaments, pool activities, badminton, pilates, tone & stretch, aquarobics and our extremely challenging assault course.
Stella Maris Water Sports cater to all ages and abilities and can create a personal program just for you. For beginners, dive training is carried out in our own 18 foot deep salt water pool and the beach area has beautifully calm, shallow and crystal clear water, perfect for practicing the basics of wake boarding or water skiing.
In mid 2013 Stella Maris Water Sports will be opening the first dedicated wakeboard centre in the Bahamas. This top class facility will offer expert tuition in an idyllic setting so if you want to learn or improve your wakeboard skills watch this space for further news of the grand opening.

The fishing around Long Island is varied and exciting. The passing of the seasons sees changes to the species available with many fish migrating close to the Long Island shoreline.
A day out deep sea or reef fishing is always fun and you never know, you might catch yourself a delicious supper which can be prepared for you by our kitchen staff.
