    Cruising Area

Our cruising area is Argyll and the Inner Hebrides on the West Coast of Scotland, one of the most unspoiled and beautiful natural environments in the world, rich in history, culture and wildlife. The Argyll coastline is larger than that of France, with many stunningly beautiful sea lochs piercing far inland, providing sheltered cruising waters with the spectacular senery on either side mirrored in the lochs. The coastline is peppered with many large and small islands, creating a unique visual landscape and a haven for wildlife.

A selection of cruises to explore this wonderful coastline

Our two vessels, the Glen Massan and the Glen Tarsan sail from Holy Loch near Dunoon in South Argyll and Oban in North Argyll to provide a choice of itineraries to explore this remarkable area of the West Coast of Scotland.

  • Destination: Scotland
    Region, District, State: Roxburghshire
    Settlement, village: Stichill
    Description:

Non-hunting companions have a full sight-seeing programme arranged for them every day. A professional tour guide and touring vehicle will take them to places of interest which include historical castles, a 12th century cathedral, stately homes, Fort William, Pitlochry, Blair Atholl, the amazing Cawdor Castle and of course Loch Ness (to see Nessie?) and shopping for antiques and cashmere, and on the Saturday morning a whisky distillery. They will leave the Lodge after breakfast and have a full day touring, returning late afternoon. On one evening during the week they will be driven up the valley to hopefully see the stags coming down from the mountains just before dusk. When the hunters are finished they are welcome to join the tours or go fishing.
